Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2025
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Snooch service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, free trial users, and paying subscribers.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the application. Your continued use of Snooch after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
Service Description
Snooch is a receipt management service that connects to your email accounts, identifies order confirmation and receipt emails, and extracts structured order data — including line items, tracking numbers, and financial details — for display in your Snooch dashboard.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice to users where practical.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account with others or allow others to access your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate and current information when creating your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Snooch.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Snooch for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
- Use the service to access email accounts you do not own or have permission to access
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to it
- Use automated scripts to access the service beyond normal use
- Resell or sublicense the service without our written permission
Billing & Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
If your receipts exceed your plan's monthly limit, overage charges will be billed at the end of the billing period at your plan's per-receipt rate.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months, except where required by applicable law or at our discretion.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected, we may suspend your account until payment is resolved.
Intellectual Property
Snooch and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your data — including extracted order information and email content — remains yours. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your data for the sole purpose of providing the Snooch service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data.
Termination
You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your access to the service will end at the conclusion of your current billing period.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
Disclaimers
Snooch is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that extracted order data will always be accurate.
Receipt extraction accuracy depends on the format of emails from each retailer. While we strive for high accuracy, we cannot guarantee that every order detail will be extracted correctly. You should verify critical financial information against source records.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Snooch shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by applicable law.
